She was loved.
Caring for our mother in the final chapter of her life changed our lives forever.
In the wake of her passing, I was determined to put to use all of the knowledge we had acquired while fighting to bring her the highest quality of care possible.
With the help of my family, we founded Forever Carolina in her honor and we will continue to help low-income seniors get access to care that brings dignity and love into their homes.
Although my mom is gone, her legacy will live on - not only in our hearts but also through action.
